I didn't just code what was asked, I thought along as a partner from day one. When I spotted a better approach or had an idea, I brought it to the table. - Built a Flutter app that connects to the QUESS device via Bluetooth. - Set up a Serverpod backend (Full-Stack Dart) so I could iterate fast in one language. - Proposed the AI features myself, then built them. - Had to invent the entire UX from scratch because nothing like this existed. The concept is simple: ask a question, hold the sensors, get an answer. The tech behind it was a lot less simple. ![About Project](https://robocitrus.com/cdn-cgi/image/w=3840,f=png,q=75/images/quess-screenshot-2.webp) **02** ## **Technische Details ** ### Technical Implementation - Flutter app with Bluetooth Low Energy integration for communication with the QUESS device. - Serverpod backend (Full-Stack Dart): One language for app and backend, ideal for fast iteration. - AI analyzes the biofeedback signals and makes results more personal. - Flutter admin panel as a web app for backend management. - Runs on iOS and Android. - Bluetooth connection with error handling and automatic reconnection. ### The Biggest Challenge Like with many startups, the product changed along the way. At the beginning, it wasn't clear where things were headed. That's where it helped that I don't just take orders but bring my own ideas for features and product direction. There are no existing references for this concept. The UX had to be designed from scratch. From idea to finished product. - Early users are excited and use QUESS in their daily lives. - Built cleanly with Flutter, Serverpod and AI, easy to keep developing. We're still working together. There are more ideas in the pipeline and I keep supporting QUESS. The app gets better with every update. > Honestly, it's just great to see real people using the app in their daily lives now. It was a long road from the first prototype to here, and seeing the product actually land with users reminds me why all that work was worth it.
